This is what I hope happens:
There will be a line of people waiting to see Avatar Korra, like how people were waiting to go before Amon to have their bending taken away. The people that are standing before Korra are all the people who lost their bending and one by one, she restores them. All of the metalbenders and everyone that who promise to only use their bending for good, which excludes all the gang people and whatnot.
One of the last people, if not the last person, to approach her will be Tahno. He asks her to give him his bending back, Mako and Bolin are reluctant and Mako being the asshole that he is will say “No, he’s a bad guy and doesn’t deserve to have his bending back!” To which Korra will say something like, “No one deserves to have their bending taken away in the first place.” (Knowing from experience how terrible it is to be without it) She will then tell Tahno that he must promise to change his ways and never use his bending at the disadvantage of other’s, Tahno will promise and Korra will give him his bending back.
He stands, confirms that his bending is indeed back, then grabs Korra and pulls her into his arms while whispering, “Thank you.”

I’m so sorry to say this, but Amon is possibly one of the sexiest motherfuckers Bryke has come up with. Even when he had his scar, I was like “Yeah, I’d still tap that”, make-up comes off— TOTAL COMPLETE SEXXX.

and then the second season is going back to the roots of bending and learning the way the first benders learned then Lin gets her bending back, and Tahno gets his bending back, and yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

Everyone is going crazy about who Lin’s daddy is.
Well, what if Lin doesn’t have a dad? Or maybe she lost both her parents, neither of them being Toph. I like to believe that Lin was one of Toph’s brightest, and youngest, students. Through misfortune events, she lost her parents and Toph took her in. It would explain why she has Toph’s last name “Bei Fong”, instead of whoever her dad would be. And let’s be honest. Toph doesn’t seem like the one to be ooie-gooie-in-love then have a ittie bittie Lin-baby, amirite?
SO. Toph adopted Lin.

So I’ve read a lot of theories about Amon. He’s Ozai or the descendent of the cabbage merchant (both are absolutely ridiculous lol), or that he’s a firebender, Hama’s grandson, a cyborg, ect. ect.
Then I watched Episode 9, a good few times, actually. And I started thinking, I don’t think Amon is someone we’ve seen before. I don’t think he’s from AtLA, but I do believe he has relation to one of the characters in LoK. Perhaps Yakone didn’t have anonlyson. Maybe he had two. Both wanted to avenge their father of what Republic City did to him. One decided to take a position of power, the other decided to start a cause that showed how benders oppress nonbenders.
I’d like to believe that Amon is a nonbender, with only the ability to energybend or whatever we’re calling it now. In which case, you’d probably ask: “Then how was he able to handle Tarrlok’s bloodbending?” If we can assume that he is, indeed, a nonbender. Perhaps his father taught him something that he didn’t teach Tarrlok. I like to think that Yakone subjected his son to constant bloodbending until he was strong enough to work through it. If this was the case, Amon (Tarrlok’s brother, in my theory), would have no problem dealing with his brother’s bloodbending. Because, we can agree, Yakone was so much more advanced with his bloodbending than Tarrlok so Amon would be very capable to deal with a less advanced form of bloodbending.
Second theory? Amon is a waterbender, and is able to reverse the effect of bloodbending.
That’s all I got.
To throw off the bloodbending? Always a BAMF? Those hawt clothes and deep, rough voice…
